Try For Me is a mobile-first real experience platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when users create experience requests, share responses, upload media, follow content, save items, or use account features.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

Account information such as name, email address, profile photo, and authentication provider information.
User-generated content such as experience requests, responses, text, photos, videos, audio, and related metadata.
Verification-related information such as email verification, phone verification, location verification, purchase verification, employment verification, hotel guest verification, vehicle owner verification, student verification, or event attendee verification where applicable.
Usage data such as viewed requests, saved items, likes, follows, reports, response counts, and notification interactions.
On-device personalization data, such as categories selected, request categories viewed, subcategories viewed, saved-content categories, and limited interaction counters stored locally on the user's device.
Device and technical data such as device type, browser, app version, crash data, IP-related information, and Firebase diagnostic data.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

Provide and improve the Try For Me platform.
Display experience requests and responses.
Help users evaluate real-life experiences before making decisions.
Generate AI summaries, tags, recommendations, and content classification where available.
Personalize the order of experience requests based on language, regional context, content relevance, and limited interaction signals.
Detect spam, abuse, fake content risk, and policy violations.
Send notifications related to responses, follow-up questions, saved items, and account activity.
Maintain trust, safety, verification, and reputation systems.
Comply with legal obligations and platform requirements.

3. On-Device Personalization

Try For Me may store limited personalization information locally on your device. This may include interaction counters related to categories you select, requests you open, subcategories you view, and categories of items you save.

This local personalization profile is used to improve the ordering and relevance of content shown on that device. At the current stage, this profile is stored in the application's local device storage and is not synchronized with your Try For Me account or transmitted to Try For Me servers.

Try For Me does not require precise GPS location for this personalization. The platform may use the language selected in the app, the device language or locale, and a non-precise country or regional hint derived from locale settings to rank locally relevant content. Changing the app language may change the content ordering.

Removing the application's local data, clearing browser or application storage, reinstalling the app, or resetting the device may remove this local personalization profile. Future account-based or cross-device personalization features will be described in this Privacy Policy before they are introduced.

4. User-Generated Content

Content shared on Try For Me may be visible to other users depending on its status, privacy settings, and platform functionality. Users should not upload private, sensitive, illegal, misleading, or third-party content without proper permission.

5. Media Uploads

Photos, videos, and audio files may be stored using Firebase Storage or similar infrastructure. Uploaded media may be analyzed for safety, moderation, categorization, AI summary generation, or platform improvement.

6. AI Features

Try For Me may use AI-assisted features to summarize responses, detect spam, identify content categories, suggest similar experiences, generate tags, and estimate fake content risk. AI results may not always be perfect and may be reviewed or corrected.

7. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers needed to operate the platform, such as hosting, database, authentication, storage, analytics, moderation, and notification providers.

8. Data Storage and Security

Try For Me uses technical and organizational measures to protect user data. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials secure.

9. Account Deletion

Users may request account deletion from the app or through the account deletion page. Some content may be removed, anonymized, or retained where necessary for legal, safety, fraud prevention, or legitimate platform operation reasons.

10. Children

Try For Me is not intended for children under the minimum age required by applicable laws. Users should not submit personal data of children without proper legal authority.
